This Privacy Policy applies to the SameRust website, account features, Rust server access features, store pages, delivery systems, and support channels operated under the SameRust brand.

For payment checkout, billing, tax, fraud prevention, receipts, subscription management, and refund handling, an authorized payment provider may act as merchant of record, reseller, payment processor, or billing agent and may process payment and purchase data under its own privacy policy.

Depending on how you use SameRust, we may collect:

• Steam ID, username, avatar, and public Steam profile data.
• SameRust account identifiers, session data, and login status.
• Email address, Discord, Telegram, or other contact details if you provide them for support or account purposes.
• Purchase, subscription, order, delivery, product access, inventory, activation, and refund status records.
• Game server identifiers, selected server, access status, ban or moderation status, and delivery logs.
• IP address, device and browser information, request logs, security logs, error logs, and approximate location derived from technical data.
• Support messages and information you choose to send to us.

We do not collect or store full card numbers. Payment providers collect and process payment details, billing details, tax information, fraud prevention signals, receipts, and subscription records as needed to complete and manage your purchase.

A payment provider may share limited purchase and subscription information with us so we can deliver the product, provide access, handle support, prevent fraud, and keep our records accurate. The provider privacy policy or privacy notice shown during checkout also applies to payment data handled by that provider.

We use personal data to:

• create, authenticate, and maintain SameRust accounts;
• deliver purchased digital access, perks, and subscriptions;
• show purchase history, inventory, and access status;
• operate, secure, debug, and improve the website and game services;
• respond to support requests and resolve delivery issues;
• detect cheating, fraud, payment abuse, security incidents, and misuse;
• comply with legal, tax, accounting, sanctions, and platform obligations;
• enforce server rules, these policies, and applicable terms.

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract when we provide your account and purchased digital access; legitimate interests when we secure the service, prevent abuse, improve the service, and answer support requests; compliance with legal obligations where records, tax, sanctions, or lawful requests require it; and consent where required for optional cookies, marketing, or similar optional features.

We use necessary cookies, local storage, or similar technologies for login sessions, security, language preference, and basic site functionality. If optional analytics, advertising, or marketing cookies are added later, they should be used only with consent where required by law.

We may share data with:

• payment providers for checkout, billing, tax, subscriptions, and refunds;
• hosting, infrastructure, database, security, and monitoring providers;
• game server infrastructure used to deliver perks and access;

We do not sell personal data. We do not sell crypto, stored-value products, financial services, or third-party marketplace services.

SameRust, payment providers, and our service providers may process data in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain your account, deliver purchases, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and keep reasonable business records. We may keep security, payment, tax, and moderation records longer where required or justified.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing of your personal data. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and to complain to your local data protection authority.

SameRust is not directed to children under 16. If local law requires parental or guardian consent for your use of online game services or purchases, you must have that consent before using SameRust or buying digital products.
